Overview

RXM-1SFUNS is an Ethernet media converter providing a great solution for connecting copper Ethernet connection across fiber. It offers cost effective 10G/5G/2.5G/1G connection capability.
RXM-1SFNUS implement a smart detection algorithm to identify the inserted transceiver module capability. With the smart detection mechanism, it controls the copper side and fiber side to link with same speed and ensure traffic pass through the connection smoothly.
RXM-1SFNUS implement its own Link Fault Pass-Through (LFPT) function. With LFPT enabled, the loss of link on one side of media converter to be passed through to the other side, so that upstream equipment can see fault conditions that would otherwise be hidden by the media converter.

Dip-Switch Define
  • Only work for the LFPT setting (ON / OFF) on the direction of fiber side to copper side
  • Copper port is forced to link down when fiber link broken if the DIP is set to ON.
